Lego competition party

No matter what age, be it 2 to 20, there is a certain joy a person gets from snapping together two pieces of plastic together and creating something.
As a way to merge fun and fond memories, consider having a Lego competition party with your friends.
Those with small kids may be able to donate some mismatched Lego pieces for the event. Or you may be able to dig around your closet and find an old stash from your childhood. Either way, be sure there are enough pieces to go around for this party.
Have guests form teams and tell them they have to create something unique in a certain amount of time. Be sure to have a prize each entry, just so that everyone has a bit of fun.
For food, think of using rectangular-shaped dishes such as a block of cheese and crackers, chocolate bars or even homemade bread that has been shaped into the recognizable Lego piece.
Toward the end of the evening, consider getting everyone to put their heads together to create a massive Lego masterpiece everyone can be proud of. And be sure to take a picture, since it will be taken down and put away, just like when you were a kid.
