Party taco bar saves time
July 13, 2009
Planning parties can be quite time consuming, especially when you are preparing food for your guests.
Instead of slaving for hours, why not let your guests do most of the work with a taco bar?
Use a long table and provide various bowls that are filled with cut-up tomatoes, olives, onions, peppers and anything else you can think of that people may want to put on their taco.
Place hard taco shells in the oven beforehand to make them crisp. Consider bringing them out so they can cool off (it will also be good so that people aren't continually opening your oven door to get the shell).
Soft taco shells are good to make available as well since they may be easier to place toppings and meat on as opposed to a hard shell.
As for the meat, provide one beef and one vegetarian option for your guests. This is probably the extent of the cooking you'll have to do.
By doing this, it allows you more time to focus on the fun aspects of party planning, like the decorations and music.
