Host weekly Entourage parties
July 13, 2009
For fans of the HBO television show Entourage, the wait is finally over.
Last night, Entourage's season six episode one premiere aired, bringing back the popular half-hour comedy show about a Hollywood actor and his friends who followed him to Los Angeles from Queens, New York.
This is a prime opportunity to begin scheduling weekly Entourage parties because, like the show states, fame is better with friends.
While not every party planner is a famous Hollywood actor, throwing a well-crafted television viewing party may make them known in their neighborhood.
New episodes are scheduled to air on Sunday nights at 10:30 p.m. EST, so be sure to invite guests at least an hour early. This allows time for them to mingle and for you to show off appetizers for the evening.
Stick to the Hollywood glamour theme and dress up snacks and finger foods with contemporary serving dishes and spacing out each food item on the plate as opposed to just piling them on.
Dim the lights to produce a lounge atmosphere and consider putting the television on mute prior to the new episode and playing low-level drum and bass music to set the mood.
With parties like this, you may have your own entourage soon enough.
