Water balloon fight party

Anyone can fill up a water balloon at the kitchen sink and throw it at someone or something, but it takes a person with an attention to detail to plan a soak-filled water balloon war.

Send out invitations to your comrades and be sure everyone comes with clothing that can get wet. Ideally bathing suits should be worn, but also consider asking people to wear old sneakers or waterproof sandals, most because there will be a lot of running involved.

Divvy up the water balloons equally and be sure you have a plastic container to hold them all. This will be the war chest for the game and should be treated with great care.

Fill each water balloon and carefully place it in the "chest" and, once filled, move each chest to the corner of the yard.

To make things interesting, use some elements from other games such as Capture the Flag or Hide-and-Seek. Otherwise, your water balloon fight will be over in a matter of minutes.

Finally be sure to set some ground rules, such as no throwing at someone's head if you're within 5 feet of each other.
