Dog costume party
July 24, 2009
If all dogs go to heaven, their owners may be there too just so they can dress them up in costumes in the afterlife.
There are a multitude of costumes for canines, in all shapes and sizes, which makes throwing a party the perfect opportunity to showcase most of them.
First, send out party invitations in the shape of bones or doggy treats, telling guests to bring their brightest or most unique costume to the event.
It may be a good idea to hold this event outside, since dogs may feel more comfortable there as opposed to being cooped up inside the house.
Purchase an extra bag of bacon strips or other type of doggie treats to present to all the four-legged guests. You can also look for a homemade recipe to make peanut-butter dog bones treats.
Consider having a digital camera on hand to take pictures of all the participants. Later on, the pictures can be posted on a Facebook group page or printed out as party favors at the end of the party.
Oh, and think about asking the dog owners to dress up as well, just so the dogs don't feel silly.
