In terms of party planning, it is easy being green

Incorporating green aspects into one's party is not only helping the environment, but it might even give your party an extra level of style.
The obvious way is to use your own china or dishware, though it means either spending hours washing dishes later or loading up the dish washer.
Instead, one emerging party trend is to use biodegradable silverware and dishes. People can purchase plates made of sugar cane or corn-based products, which they can then throw out and not worry that the items will take up room in a landfill. The items will biodegrade in approximately six months.
For food, think organic. A visit to your local farmer's market or health food store may be able to give you ideas.
People who plan to have activities at their party, and want to ensure they are earth-friendly ones, can really have some creative fun.
For an evening party, how about making s'mores with your guests? By using organic chocolate and a small fire-safe bowl, your guests can enjoy a unique dessert at the end of the night. Oh and the skewers? Have them pick up small sticks from your yard.
