Creative couple costumes for Halloween

Dressing as a couple is a relationship milestone. If you and your significant other plan on taking the plunge this Halloween, make sure to do it with style and creativity. Here are a few ideas for couples who plan on coordinating their costumes.

Jon and Kate Gosling of Jon and Kate Plus Eight fame is a choice that's sure to amuse your friends. Kate Gosling wigs are now available at most party supply stores. Jon should wear an Ed Hardy t-shirt, shades and spiked hair. You could even bring some dolls to tote around if you want to make the costume interactive.

For the True Blood fans among you, Bill and Sookie would make a great couple costume. Bill needs dress pants, a button down and white face make-up. Draw on some black sideburns to complete the look. Sookie should sport a blond ponytail, a waitressing outfit and some bite marks on her neck.

The Mad Men fans among you can use this as a chance to show off both your excellent taste in period dramas and your costume planning abilities. Betty should wear a pearl necklace, perfectly-coiffed blond hair and a '50s style party dress, while Don should step out in a tailored suit and a skinny tie.
