Glow sticks and party favors sure to wow trick-or-treaters
October 09, 2009
Sick of handing out fun-sized candy bars on fright night? A great way to stand out from your neighbors is to hand out Halloween party favors, like green or orange glow sticks, glow necklaces, or glow bracelets. (Not only are glow products festive, they can also be a safety feature. The light-up party favors make trick-or-treaters easier to spot on roads and sidewalks when it gets dark out.)
Personalized rotating message pens could also make a great addition to trick-or-treaters' goodie bags. Have some pens made up with your family's name, the year, and a Halloween message. Each click of a personalized party pen displays one of four rotating messages.
Other creative Halloween treats could be plastic eyeballs, fake glasses, wax lips or candy necklaces.
If you're having a Halloween party for kids, putting party favors and candy in Halloween mugs creates a great goodie bag. Or, have kids make their own treats to take home. Use cookie cutters to make bat, pumpkin or witch shaped cookies, and provide kids with plenty of orange frosting, sprinkles and Halloween-colored candies. They'll love decorating the cookies themselves, and everyone can take home the leftover sweets.
