A Disney-themed party will keep kids entertained

Some movies get dated with time, but it seems like classic Disney films always have something to offer. That's especially true for little kids, who might not have seen all of the staples in a Disney-lovers DVD collection.
If you're stumped for kids party ideas, a Disney party can be an ace in your pocket.
Kids will love a Fantasia-themed party, especially if you make costumes mandatory. There are plenty of characters to choose from. The iconic short, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, makes a great costume for kids. A blue cone hat (made from construction paper), a red robe or cape and an old-fashioned broom or bucket will make an easily recognizable ensemble.
It will be a snap to keep the youngsters entertained at the festivities. Use the soundtrack from some of your favorite Disney movies to play musical chairs (use caution - this party activity might degenerate into a sing-a-long.)
Put up Disney movie posters as party decorations and serve Disney-themed snacks, like Mickey Mouse-shaped sugar cookies. If you're pressed for time, buy a Disney cake. Most supermarket bakeries will have something available.
At the end of the party, have everyone wind down while watching an old favorite like The Lion King, Cinderella or Aladdin.
