Jenny McCarthy attends the largest elf party ever!
December 08, 2009
Fans of the movie Elf will be familiar with the concept of a grown person dressed as one of Santa's little helpers and just how funny the costume can be.
ABC Family hosted a World Record Elf Party to promote their Christmas special Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe. Actress Jenny McCarthy, who appeared in the movie, attended the party in full-on elf regalia.
The gathering managed to attract 607 people dressed as elves, which surpasses the 250 that were needed to break the record for the largest gathering of Santa's helpers. Now that's a party!
The TV special tells the story of Mary Class (McCarthy), Santa's daughter who must take the reins when St. Nick decides that he needs a break from the job. However, things get too complicated for Mary when she has trouble balancing her responsibilities at the north pole, her law firm in New York City and her relationship with boyfriend Luke (played by Dylan McDermott.)
The movie should be perfect for kids of all ages and will air on ABC Family Sunday December 13.
