John Gosselin, Heid Montag will appear at your bash for a price

Are you hoping to wow guests at your New Year's Eve party? If you're willing to drop some serious cash, you could add a few celebrity names to your guest list.

According to PopEater.com, Jon Gosselin can be booked to appear at your shindig for $12,000, and Heidi Montag of "The Hills" will commit to a party for an undisclosed amount. Stars often require their hosts to pay transportation and hotel fees as well.

Aside from private parties, celebrities garner a paycheck for more outings than you may expect. A night out on the town, for example, could be a paid gig for a star who has committed to appearing at a certain club or venue, according to the website.

Stars are likely to charge between $1,000 and $3,000 for a meet and greet and between $5,000 and $10,000 for a speaking event, the news source reports.

Getting paid to party? That's a pretty sweet deal if you ask us. You have to wonder how much Kate Gosselin would charge to show up at your fête.
