The stars head to Sin City for New Years Eve

Forget star sightings, you can party with the rich and famous! Anyone who plans on spending New Years Eve in Las Vegas is in for a treat - there are plenty of celebrities who are slated to welcome in the new year from Sin City.

According to MTV.com, Christina Aguilera will be hosting a bash at Tao, a popular Las Vegas club that's sure to offer plenty of fun ways to ring in the New Year.

A little further down on the Vegas strip, new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden will be spending the evening at Lavo, a restaurant and nightclub that is usually a hotbed of celebrity activity.

The news source reports that rapper 50 Cent will be performing at the nightclub Pure, and fans of former "Girls Next Door" star Holly Madison will be able to spot the blonde bombshell at Prive.

Those who would like to spend the night in the comfort of their own living rooms can check out ABC's "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest." The special will feature the Black Eyed Peas, Selena Gomez, Colbie Caillat and Robin Thicke, among others.
