Alanis Morisette turns up at Katie Holmes' clothing line launch

It seems like Katie Holmes is always dressed to impress, even when Mrs. Tom Cruise is just grabbing a cup of coffee. Fans of the leading lady can now snag some of her superstar style by picking up a few pieces from her very own clothing line.

Holmes teamed up with her stylist, Jeanne Yang, to create the Holmes &
Yang label. The actress wore a dress from the line to the premiere party of "Tropic Thunder" last year.
Both of the designers made an appearance at the Maxfield clothing store in LA, the only retailer to stock their line, according to PopSugar.com.

It seems like Holmes & Yang already has some famous faces on-board - big-name celebs like Alanis Morisette also attended the event to get a look at the fancy threads. Perhaps we'll see an influx of the pair's pieces on the red carpet in 2010?

Both Holmes and Yang looked sleek and stylish at the event. Holmes paired black leggings with a sheer white blouse and bright blue heels, while Yang wore dark denim pants, a simple black t-shirt and a long gold chain.
