Adam Lambert fixes Pamela Anderson's wardrobe malfunction on New Year's Eve

Using double-sided tape might now be on the top of Pamela Anderson's list of New Year's Resolutions. The actress was attending a party at

Paramount Studios in Hollywood when she almost pulled a Janet Jackson – sans sparkly pastie.

With a glass flute of bubbly in her hand, Anderson raised her glass for a toast when her low-cut (no big surprise there) white dress began to slip off, according to PanAsianBiz.com. Luckily, rocker Adam Lambert saved her just in time. (Or foiled her attempt at an impromptu striptease, depending on how you look at it.)

ActressAcrchives.com reports that witnesses observed Anderson having a great time. They claim that the actress spent most of the night in the VIP Lounge, and that she only made an appearance for her exuberant countdown to midnight.

After the ball dropped, Lambert launched into a song and the starlet headed back to the VIP area for more drinking and revelry.
