The news source reports that the actor showed up at the famed park wearing sunglasses and a scarf and carrying two packs of cigarettes. He downed a meal from McDonald's before joining the other celebrities on ice.
The event drew a slew of famous participants, including Denis Leary, Lenny Clarke and Tim Robbins, filmmaker Bobby Farrelly, and Dropkick Murphy member Ken Casey. Farrelly was named MVP of the event.
Afterwards, Sutherland told the news source that it was a treat to play.
Tickets for the event cost between $10 and $25, and the net proceeds for the event went towards the NHL, the Boston Bruins Foundation and The NHLPA's Hockey Fights Cancer and the Red Sox Foundation.
The Globe reports that Robbins, who recently split from his long-time girlfriend Susan Sarandon, ducked out before reporters had a chance to question him.
