The Jersey Shore kids give Michael Cera a make-over

Cast mates on the Jersey Shore, the now-infamous reality show, quickly garnered legions of fans and tons of coverage in the press. The six party-happy housemates are constantly on the prowl and ready for a fight.

However, the gang recently took a break from their antics and spent time helping actor Michael Cera, who stars in the new movie "Youth in Revolt," giving the low-key hipster some fashion advice.

MTV.com reports that in order to create a Jersey-worthy Cera, the guys helped him out with his hair, which basically means that they applied a lot of product and then blow-dried it straight. They also amped-up the funny-man's wardrobe and replaced his button-down shirt with a patterned tee.

They topped off the transformation with a few fist-pumping lessons.
And, you might ask, how did these Jersey gurus end the make-over party? Why, with a requisite dip in the hot tub, of course!

The website reports that viewers will be able to catch a glimpse of the action themselves during commercial breaks on this week's episode of the show.
