Parents are often overwhelmed when it comes to planning their child's party. Many youngsters want to invite their entire class, which means that hosting a child's birthday party involves entertaining a mob of active children.

It can be a daunting task, but parents who work to choose engaging kids' party themes so that they won't have to try quite as hard to keep kids in line.

Little girls often look forward to their birthday party for weeks, though parents might dread the idea of controlling a crowd full of their daughters' best friends.

However, having some party activities set up will make the fete a piece of cake.

Host a dress-up party!

Many young girls love playing dress up, so stocking up on party supplies like brightly-colored boas, fun party hats and movie-star sunglasses is an easy and creative way to ensure that all of the girls have an excellent time.

In the party invitations, suggest that the pint-sized guests come prepared with some of their own dress-up clothes, which they can share at the shindig.

Whether your choose to pick one up at your local bakery or make your own, try to make the cake match the theme and party decorations, and be sure to snap a picture of it before the tiny terrors tear into the sugary confection.
