Make your Party Magical!

Magic Theme Party
Some parties don’t need a certain time of year to be fun. There are some things that are just enjoyable all year round and magic is one of them. Whether you see a trick performed on the street or by a friend while hanging out, magic captures your attention and always leaves you wondering, “How’d they do that?”
Magic Theme Party Invitations
When magic is involved in a party, you should be sure to let everyone know with the invitation. Magic isn’t just a theme for your party; it’s the entertainment as well! A lot of theme parties can’t be both.
Our magic show personalized invitations, abracadabra invitations, and It’s Magic invitations will let you showcase your theme while still getting all the details across.
If you want to try a more personal touch, you can always use some magic invisible ink to write some invites. Just be sure to give your guests a hint on how to read it when you hand them the invite, otherwise they won’t know about your party!
Magic Theme Party Decorations
One of the best things about a magic theme party is that this can be a simple party to decorate for.
If you have some extra sheets stowed away, get out the duct tape and cordon off an area to be a stage. Use the duct tape or other material to hang up your sheets to create a make-shift curtain for your magic act.
If you have hired a magician or have a friend willing to show off some tricks for you and your guests, give them some special billing! Put their name up or the name of the birthday boy or girl on a magic theme banner. Personalize your message and make your event stand out!
You can also decorate your walls in a very simple fashion by hanging some star cutouts. Pick from a wide variety of colors and help the magic come alive!
Another fun and simple way to decorate your party is by using balloons. You can stick to the traditional kind or you can use Lumi-Loons!
For some added fun effects you can dim the lights and set out some fiber optic centerpieces or flickering flameless LED candles. These are nice and safe for your party guests.
Magic theme Party Food
Guests are more easily wowed when they don’t have an empty stomach. Offer your party goers a variety of eats and once they are full, let them feast their eyes on your magic!
If you are entertaining little ones, it’s best to stick with what works: keep their attention focused on something and only let them have sugar towards the end of the party.
It may be tempting to set out a snack table, but if you do, avoid sweets. Try health alternatives like trail mix, mixed nuts, fruit or even mini peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.v
Serve cake, cookies and other treats when you are ready to have the children sit still or leave. And if you still want to be the cool parent who gives out the treats children crave (chocolate, sugar, etc), that’s what goodie bags are for! Fill up goodie bags with sweet treats and send the children home with them!
Some black magic themed plates, cups, and napkins will match any other decorations. You can also use a black stripe vinyl table cover and black metallic fringed table skirt to stay uniform.
