Prom Season 2011

Yes, it's that magical time of the year when high school students across the country are gearing up for, what some would argue, is the biggest night of their lives.

Prom night always carries some significance, if only because you get to play dress up.

But while girls are busily picking out dresses and boys get fitted for their monkey suits, there is a lot of work going on to make sure that the prom itself goes off without a hitch.

Depending on how your school does it, there is a committee of students and faculty who are coordinating and organizing everything so that this magical night lives up to its billing.

And that's where we come in.

Proms always have themes, from song titles like, "I had the time of my life" to more generic themes like Enchantment Under the Sea.
