Administrative Professionals Day 2011
April 27, 2011
Today is a day that no individual working in an office setting should over look.
Today is Administrative Professionals Day, part of Administrative Professionals Week (April 24-30).
If you've ever worked in any sort of an office setting, you've encountered these diligent and hard working individuals.
These are the people who are the first and last lines of defense when it comes to keeping telemarketers at bay.
These are the people who take their patience to a new level.
These are the individuals who are often the first to arrive and some of the last to leave.
These are people who otherwise have thankless positions; jobs that are incorrectly taken for granted.
These are the people who, like so many other hard workers, deserve more than this day and more than this week for recognition.
If you are an Administrative Professional, Thank You.
If you know someone who is, go out of your way to show your appreciation for them today, tomorrow, and for the rest of the year.
It's easy to overlook the scope of the many activities these individuals do. Do not just write them off as 'receptionists'.

And it's never too late to offer an LED Rose to the dedicated women of the profession and an LED Beer Mug for the men.
