Sometimes these things just sneak up on you!

It wasn't until yesterday that I realized that this Friday would be Friday the 13th. I'm not sure how often this date rolls around or if we will see it again this year, but one Friday the 13th for 2011 is enough.

Fortunately, it's pretty unlikely that anything bad will happen. And, in the end, it's still Friday. Friday. Gotta get down on Friday . . . D'oh!

Has anyone out there ever really had something extraordinarily bad happen to them on Friday? I mean not anything you saw coming. Not anything that could happen on any other Friday. I mean like a true "what are the odds of this even happening?" kind of event on Friday the 13th.

Of course, we can't overlook the connection to Jason Voorhees and all the great movies that have given us love of the date 'Friday the 13th'. So to show some proper respect, here's some deranged individuals wearing hockey masks and wielding large knives.
