Go Manic for the MTV Movie Awards

The MTV Movie Awards are coming up this Sunday, June 5th. The host will be Jason Sudeikis, who stars in Saturday Night Live. The presenters include Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Steve Carell, Shia LaBeouf, Patrick Dempsey, Cameron Diaz, Selena Gomez, and Nicki Minaj, who will be handing out awards for "Best Kiss", "Best Villain", "Best Line From a Movie", and more.

The previous awards will be keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, but the hype right now is all about the Generation Award. MTV has chosen to give it to Reese Witherspoon, who they complimented on being "one of the most versatile and accomplished performers of her time." Reese will be joined with previous Generation Award winners, including Sandra Bullock, Ben Stiller, Tom Cruise, Jim Carey, Mike Myers, and Adam Sandler.



The most exciting news about the MTV Movie Awards, in my opinion, is that for the first time, footage of Breaking Dawn, Part 1 from the Twilight series will be shown. I think it's time for all of the Twilight fans out there to grab an Edward Cullen Life Size Stand Up and some Twilight Plates and Napkins to celebrate!
