We give these out to young children on Christmas Eve for them to use instead of actual candles. They're a HUGE hit with the kids, but maybe even a BIGGER hit with the parents! They glow brightly and last several hours - prolonging the children's joy long after church is over. They are a little hard to "crack" to get them to activate...even some adults have difficulty.

We used this for a Jewish congregational celebration of Chanukah. During our service, we turned off the lights and asked everyone to "light" their sticks, that we had passed out when they entered our service. It was a huge hit!

Our usual source for the glow sticks suddenly was not available- so there I was, the Sunday evening before our Thursday event frantically online looking for low price, a good product [...]that was not going to break me. Hooray for Windy City Novelties.[...]the order arrived in time (Wednesday afternoon) for the Thursday evening Luminaria Ceremony. The sticks were very long-lasting and easy to use. Kids and teens particularly loved to use the necklace/string that was included. WCN will now become our primary source!

All kids LOVE glow sticks and think they're the best. I use them for Safety. It helps me find them faster in large crowds and running about the neighborhood at night. I use them EVERY time we boat. My daughter accidentally fell between the dock and the boat once and this was just an extra item that brings peace of mind that we were able to see her because of her necklace. This is of course, NOT a life saving device but is a smart tool to use in addition to your general boating safety. I've used them at Halloween, Sleeping at the Aquarium with my Girl Scouts, Parties, etc. Next year I'm going to raise money for my Relay for Life which is a 24 hour event. They will be so useful and FUN for all those who camp out overnight!!!

We used glow sticks instead of traditional candles for our Christmas Service. They were awesome! We had the ambiance of candlelight without melted wax drippings in our sanctuary. We've started a new tradition.

These sticks are bright, and they last several hours! We gave them to children to use (instead of candles) during our church's Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. It was a HUGE success - not only made the kids feel involved, but let parents focus on worship instead of whether their child was going to catch on fire! Used the leftovers the following week at a youth concert. One of the best purchases I've made for church!
