    I plan to make a large display using these and I need to know when and how do they light up to make sure that they aren't lit up too early and won't last as long as I need them to?

          They were slightly difficult to break open, so I had to have my brother break them. They only last for one night, which does seem like such a waste.
          But, they were absolutely a hit at my son's 12 birthday party/dance. They turned the lights off for the dance. All of the glasses (we had green and yellow ones) were broken open so they would glow, and the made great decorations for the first half of the party, then we pulled raffle tickets to hand them out to various guests - and they continued to decorate the room through out the evening.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            This was a great product. It added ambiance to the party my guest loved it. The only problem it took us a minute to figure out how to make the glasses glow. Other than that the glasses were a hit.

              I intended to use this product on a table at a themed party. I needed the glass to be green. It is not green, but a yellow-green. The color does not cover the entire glass but only part of it, not up to rim. I have bought quite a few products from you, and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I had to order another set of glasses because these were not what I needed.
