Our daughter's wedding theme was lovebirds. These bird whistles were exactly right for what we wanted. We used them to warble the bride and groom off to their honeymoon. Everyone, young and old, laughed and warbled. The whistle was quite loud, yet not shrill, easy on the ears that way.They capped off the night perfectly.

Actually, I was looking to replace my daughter's forty year old plastic bird that my grandchildren broke. This price and quantity could not be beat and they're truly delightful and make children extremely happy. They're simple, playful, harmless and a wonder for all ages!

I bought these to give away as prizes for kids' games for our town celebration. I had gotten one of these as a small child and remember loving it. As I recall, the one I had was twice the size and easier to make the warbling sound. In these, it was difficult getting just the right amount of water in the whistle to make the sound effects. If you had one as a child, you'll probably be a bit disappointed, if this is new to you, you'll probably think it's neat.

Ordered these to give as favors at wedding but when they arrived (right on time, as promised) I discovered they didn't whistle! I tried several and none of them did....sort of a faint sound of air, that's all. Bummer! Too late to get anything else so no favors. When I called to discuss the return, the phone rep said they are supposed to be used with water....huh? The product descrip says nothing about water. Oh well
