I needed gold top hats for 150 children in a musical. These were inexpensive and easy to use but I added elastic to keep them on their heads for dancing. Also the top is very shiny, but the sides were a little see thru.

The gold finish is not as dark as it looks in the picture. They are kind of transluscent. I ended up spray painting the hats with gold spray paint to enhance the color.
