I'm an activiites cooridnator at a college and we bought 12 black light bulbs for a glow-themed party. The price was the cheapest I found online and they were perfect for what we were doing. We received the items quickly with nothing broken or damaged.

Black lites are hotter than regular lites so I use them as heaters in our insulated dog house.

Used this at a theme party and I must say I was greatly disappointed! The light itself was not very strong and without anything else illuminating the room you saw more black darkness than you did black light! Needless to say after about 15 minutes one of the lightbulbs blew which left me at a total loss! Thank goodness my boyfriend came to the rescue with a red lightbulb that completely outshined the black-light bulb! Who knew!

These are not true BLACK LIGHTS and will not create the glow that fluorescent lights create.
These just create a lot of HEAT and will BURN you and the device they are installed in!

So, when I saw the price of these, I was like, sweet! I can get a bunch and they'll make the glow in the dark spiderweb glow...no such luck - even putting these in a 6-leg otco-lamp, didn't light up the web - make better use of your money and get a real long blacklight, or better yet, borrow 1. Also, these get REAL hot.
