are these the same thickness as other glow bracelets? I am asking because I wear them in my ears and need them the same thickness. How frequently do they change color? I've never seen these before.

  They are thicker than traditional glow bracelets and only change color one time, from orange to yellow then to green within 30 minutes or so then they stay green.
