          We used it as a "death star" for a star wars themed party. Everyone knew that was what it was and thought it was great. The only problem was that as the kids pulled the ribbons, nothing happened. I had to rip it open to dump the candy. Also, there was no way to fill it. We had to carefully cut it open to fill it and tape it back shut. Luckily the design allowed for that.

            I may have missed it in the description, but it would have been nice to know it only holds 2 lbs of candy/toys. I'd have bought more than one because it is a little smaller than I imagined but it looks great and I can't wait for the kids to try it out at my soon-to-be-5 year old's dance party.

              I used this Disco Ball for my 6 year old daughters Disco Dance Party. The pinata was great also for a decoration. The strings do not open the pinata.I had to open it with my hands and pour out the candy.
