These are extremely sturdily made, and a perfect fit for a children's cat themed birthday party. Furry ears are on a sturdy, furry headband, which is solidly sewn to ears. Not one seven year old had ears fall off for entire party, even during running games. Girls all found them extremely comfortable, too- even the girls that don't normally find headbands comfortable. Furry tail has solid elastic loop, so I ran pink ribbons through and tied around girls' waists to avoid any safety pin accidents, but you could easily pin these in place. The tails were a real hit with the girls, as you can bend them in whatever direction you want, like a real cat's tail. Great value for the price. The only con I could see is that a stickler for realism might object that ears have just a pale gray satin triangle over the black furry triangle part for the ears. As they are solidly made, fur thick and not coming off with no mangy gaps in fur like others I've seen, and very cute on, I think these are a winner. The only reason I didn't give a five is due to the lack of realism on the inner ear part. Incredible value for the price, actually. I bought a set for each girl attending the party because of the price, and these look to have years left of use in them, so each girl took her set home for further play. These would hold up to years of classroom use as well, I think.
