We (in our 50's)spent a weekend in the mountains, and wore these on the river kayaking and then lit them up around the campfire at night. They transformed us. Great fun!

The Chair of our Department wore the helmet at an annual event. He is known for wearing various hats and he has an incredible sense of humor. The helmet worked perfectly with our theme - "diversity". The Chair was the only Viking in the crowd.

I did a Viking theme for a Red Hat celebration.The viking helmet was so perfect with the blinking red horns.The ladies loved it.
cool but needed the contacts cleaned

Our Relay for Life theme this year was NFL teams - we were the Minn. Vikings. These helment fit even the biggest head on the team and were super fun. Our boss had to clean the contacts on all the horns before they would work - a bit of a pain. Other wise we had a great time.

Both horn didn't lit when it came. One of the norn battery was blackened. We had to replace the both batteires and it worked for a little while. We still dont know why it didn't work, but it's not that expensive fun goods, our kid was still happy anyways.
Vikings stuggle to keep light on

We use these as a a fundraising product along with the non-lighup ones. In the future we'll go with the non-lihgtup only since the lights failed on about half of them. People really liked the ones that lit up but for the cost difference and rate of failure, sadly, we have to take a pass on these next time. Go for the regular Viking Helmets, though!
