    What are the stanchions made of. How tall are they? Are they weighted at the bottom?
    What is rope made of? How does it attach to the stanchions?

      1. The stanchions are made out of plastic.
      2. They are 2 ft 9.5 inches tall.
      3. No they are not weighted on the bottom.
      4. The ropes are made of a plastic coil.
      5. The coils are attached onto the hooks on the stanchion.

      They are made of plastic but do not have an opening to fill them with sand.

        Almost no other decorations necessary for Oscar Night. Guests ate it up as they showed off their finery. Great photo-ops. Probably also good for virtual barrier application.

          Comments about RED ROPE STANCHION SET:

          We used this for our Prom event that had a Hollywood Theme. The red rope are not rope but red coils instead. The poles are plastic and very light so we had to put sand in them to keep them from falling over.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
