We used these for a glowing event! They were a hit. We had extras and lit the walkways that were dark. They stay lit for a long time.

We used the glo sticks for birthday party favors. I let each child pick a bright colored plastic string to tie to the glo sticks for a necklace. Both girls and boys loved them..it was a big hit!

These are great glow sticks; not the cheap,small ones that die after a few hours. The reds were brilliant and the blues and purples could be seen across the yard (frequent users will know these can be the dimmest). I bought 75 and got 3 resealable packs of 25. The packs were heavy black protective plastic which I didn't expect and appreciated. Not a single dud and no color was repeated too much - at some other stores you buy a "variety" and get 60% green.

Added to "goodie bags" for a Glow-in-the-Dark party. Kids loved the colors, the glow, everything. Only problem...some the kids may want to activate everyones' sticks because the sticks are so much fun!!

I ordered all colors of glow sticks and only received 3 colors. Red,White,green. We needed them for our Marti Gras party.

All kids LOVE glow sticks and think they're the best. I use them for Safety. It helps me find them faster in large crowds and running about the neighborhood at night. I use them EVERY time we boat. My daughter accidentally fell between the dock and the boat once and this was just an extra item that brings peace of mind that we were able to see her because of her necklace. This is of course, NOT a life saving device but is a smart tool to use in addition to your general boating safety. I've used them at Halloween, Sleeping at the Aquarium with my Girl Scouts, Parties, etc. Next year I'm going to raise money for my Relay for Life which is a 24 hour event. They will be so useful and FUN for all those who camp out overnight!!!

A couple of drawbacks otherwise I would give this product 5 stars. Could not tell difference between pink and red sticks before activation. Seems nit-picky but when you are handing these out a birthday party and someone wants a pink because another girl has a pink one and you cannot tell the difference without activating them, we activated 3 red ones before we found a second pink one, and of course no one wanted the red ones (the red look great though). Also most colors did not come with strings, and everyone wanted to wear them around the neck. The good things is that they were very bright and surprisingly long lasting, they looked cool in the pool at night.

We used them for a futuristic themed party to light up vases. The colors that came were very pretty, but there was not the variety pictured. As the saying goes, "you get what you get...." Lasted for at least 10hours.
