This was one of 8 EL-wires purchased and it worked beautifully. It was a vibrant neon pink and easy to use. However, we purchased 8 EL-Wires and 2 of them did not work....so check them out for SEVERAL minutes before you determine that it is working. They all worked for at least 2 minutes before the 2 faulty ones quit.

I used this for my halloween costume. I used super glue to wrap it around a tube so it looked like a straw, and I got so many compliments on it! I was really pleased the glue held it so well. The lights worked for a good 5 hours straight with the batteries that came with it, and it still works when I turn it on since then. The quality seemed very good. The only thing I didn't like was that it made a high pitched noise whenever on, but at a party, it wasn't a big deal. :)
