Bought these to give away at our annual 4th of July block party. Kids and adults alike were thrilled. They're really bright, much better quality than the [@] ones I got last year, and each one comes with a lanyard. Glad I bought them individually wrapped so I can save the leftovers for next year. Only possible drawback is they were a little hard to activate (I had to use the edge of the table) so kids might have a hard time, but I just activated them before passing them out, which also kept the wrappers off my lawn - :)

Used blue glow sticks for dancing during wedding (last dance). Then used the blue glow sticks as a send-off at the end of the wedding reception. Much nicer than seed/rice/confetti, etc...no mess! Great with pics too! Would use again for other events.
