since these are in incriments of a dozen if I want 1500 eggs total how many do I need to order?

  Well, since there are 12 in a dozen and you want 1500 individual eggs, we must divide 1500 by 12 this equals 125. So, you will need 125 dz eggs to get 1500 individual eggs.
