On Thursday June 28th, I ordered 20 dozen of the Red, White, & Blue, hand fans. I had put off purchasing till the last minute, and was worried that they might not be delivered in time. I was assured they would. Little did I know JUST how GREAT this purchase would end up being. The VERY NEXT DAY, Friday June 29th, West Virginia, along with several other states was hit with powerful winds that destroyed power to many communities, including mine. And massive damage with fallen trees and other destruction. I was scheduled to be the "New Uncle Sam", taking over the role another person had done for 10 years before, at Arts in the Park on July 4th, in New Martinsville, WV, With the temps in the 100 degree range and very large pine trees blown over at the entrance to the park, and electric service still not restored at my own home, (and not for another 4 days), the event still went on as planned. It was a real treat for me to get to hand out every one of the fans I had purchased from Windy City Novelties. All though they were of a patriotic theme it seemed pretty crash to hand out an item celebrating America's birthday with [*] printed on the front. However I just made light of it and said as I handed the out. I would say: "Here is your own personal Air Conditioning, complements of "UNCLE SAM", and the Chinese Government, No batteries, needed." Needless to say, after what my community had endured in the past 7 days and several days following, this purchase of a little, Red, White, & Blue hand fan, could not have been a better deal.

Passed these out at a 4to of July church picnic. Everyone loved them. The only problem I did not order enough.

We bought 10 doz. of these to pass out at a Fourth of July Parade, wow temp. 100 + big hit. Thank you for making this affordable.

The fans (although very colorful) broke upon opening them. You have to spread them when opening and 80% broke immediately. The other 20% broke when someone was fanning themselves.

All of the other products I ordered were fabulous and I have no complaints there. Just the fans were an issue.

These fans are a great idea, but do not hold up. Two of them broke apart (paper portion unraveled) upon opening them. They should have been refunded [...] Very disappointed. Wanted these for children during a parade for July 4th. Now we will not have anything in time.
