    I used them as decorations and gave the birthday boy one. I agree the adhesive is not intended for long term use but more so for a short term use. Especially for glow since it only glows 4 to 6 hours. The more you move around the adhesive wears out. I almost have up on it too because of the glow, It turns out there is two mini glow sticks inside you have to crack both and glow is great.

          I ended up hot-gluing strings to make them necklaces to hang. they wouldn't stay on anyone - they're like an inch thick & rigid and fell off so didn't know how else people could wear them.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
