Just what we needed

We used these in two parts. The carabineer was used to attach a "dunk bag" to a drying line. A dunk bag is a mesh bag containing a girl scout mess kit. You dunk the bag in a sanatizing solution and hang it to dry. The carabineers were the perfect size and strength. We used the keychain ring to make a knotted keychain as we practiced our knots.
