I used this item as a favor for my brother's birthday party. I remembered awhile back that he had given me a smiley face ball during a depressing period of my life and he told me to look at it when I was stressed and to think of him. He's my youngest brother and always looks on the bright side of life.

I purchased as a donation to the USCG Auxiliary - Children Public Affairs Program to be used as prizes when young children correctly answer questions about some aspect of water safety. Good for all ages - but especially for young children because they are big enough to prevent them from swallowing them. Only trouble is that at [$] each they become a bit spendy when we deal with thousands of kids and limited budget. This is why we keep them primarily for the younger children and give the older children something else - less expensive and generally much smaller.

These were purchased to include in care packages. Who wants one with a smudged smile, extra black ink where it shouldn't be, or holes molded into the ball? I don't and I'm sure the recipients don't either. First round, 3 of the 12 were not usable due to defects. WC sent 3 more and at least 1 of those couldn't be used either. Too bad, because they are cute, but the maker clearly has a quality control problem.

these are foam squeeze balls that weigh at the most 10 oz [...]. when they came they were smaller than thought and the color was faded on one pack. not happy
