I bought these to make my 8 year old grandson a chicken costume for Halloween. I make his every year and every year he has been an animal of sorts. Being that he has chickens (and loves them) he wanted to be a chicken. I used an old sheet for the base fabric and hot glued the boas down the front and back. Cut them to fit for wings and any that fell off I used on his mask. They were perfect!!!! I was so pleased with the fast shipping (giving me more time to work on it) and the quality was outstanding...very little 'molting'. I am attaching the picture of him dressed in his costume, he was hilarious and an award winner. Thank you Windy City!

A white boa surrounded a centerpiece containing a martini glass and green foil shred which was placed on a large round banquet table for a charity benefit. I bought these whit boas for my bridesmaids for my wedding reception on April 7th. These were just what I was looking for. Yes, they shed quite a bit, but my 9 year old sister-in-law and I had fun "boa fighting" (like sword fighting) in the back yard to get all the access feathers off. After we did that, they still looked full and were lovely around the necks of my bridesmaids as we entered into the reception.

We used the boas for a Roaring 20's party at our golf club.    As might be expected the boas shed some feathers. We solved most of the shedding problem by shaking out the boas ahead of distribution time. I would recommend this product. The quality was very good for the price.

Overall, they worked for what I needed them for, however, they are extremely messy and have a tendency to fall apart quite easily, I am using them wrapped around glass jars on candle sticks for my Wedding, as long as we don't move them too much, they'll be fine, but boy did they create a mess in the working zone!
