I like to wear the hat when I want to be found easily. I wear it when I go ATVing so people can recognize me from afar. When I went to Mardi Gras with 3 friends, I got one for each of us to quickly see each other in the VERY crowded streets. The plan worked great! I purchased these before. The hat lasts just as expected, for quite a while. However, the lights seem to stop after a short period of time. I seem to have to trouble shoot the wiring every time with all the hats, just a short time of wearing. I'm talking after 4 or 5 times wearing, not hour later. But at this price you can't go wrong. just buy them in pairs so when 1 goes down you have 1 ready to go. I love them.

Fun,fun hat... Used them on Mardi Gras floats....

2 of the 3 lights are bright one is not, very dim.

Three out of five light up jester hats did not light up. Although customer service was lovely and sent replacement batteries, they were the wrong size and so the hats didn't light up and were a disappointment.
