These boas were used to decorate a permanent banner made for the yearly Pirate Fest Parade my group participates in. It rained on us (pretty heavily) but the boas did not suffer at all. They did not bleed and fluffed back up after drying. Great product.

I decorated the back of chairs with the purple boas and when the guests sat down they wore the boas! It was a colorful table of guests wearing purple boas! Fun!

Great value for the boa, easy ordering and shipping was expedited which was great! I had ordered 5 purple boas for a group event a few of my friends were having. They were great and worked perfectly except the purple began to come off of the feathers and stained our clothing and skin. I would caution anyone to please be careful to wear these due to that fact. It came off our skin with soap and water but still, was a little embarrassing to see the discoloration after wearing the boa for only 20 mins. It was a great buy but you get what you pay for.

The boas are beautiful and have nice fluffy volume, but serious consideration should be given before buying them. Firstly, they shed a LOT. Not just while being unpacked, but continuously. Secondly, the purple coloring can stain clothing and furniture fabric! We used them for a large party and had to warn guests about these problems, which was a drag. Luckily, we had also gotten the pink/silver, which did not stain.

I loved having these boas at a recent girls weekend. We used them for decorations on a table at dinner and for a photo booth. The huge problem was that the purple dye got all of your hands. Also, the feathers SHED EVERYWHERE!!!!! It looked like we had killed a chicken!

This product could have been better but it was ok for the price. But any time we even moved the feathers started flying off of these boas. Great for one time use only.

If you are using the boas just for decoration for a party, they will work fine. They are very colorful and nice to look at. Also, I had no problems at all with the company. However, these boas were not the best. I got them for a bachelorette party. We all had them on during dinner and by the end of it, we all had purple all over our necks, dresses, arms, etc. It washed off easily, however we looked pretty silly walking around in our nice dresses with purple skin. Also, the feathers shed everywhere, so if you do get them, be sure to use them in a place where they do not mind cleaning up the mess.
