Needed a centerpiece to represent Chinese New Year. This made a very good piece for a festive table. Needed a gong to go with it.

We used this in the lobby of the school theatre during a performance of The King and I. It looked fun and colorful and added an exotic touch at our decorations. The ends needed reinforcement to stay together though and we needed to staple them. Not something for long term use, for sure, but great party decoration for one night.
