I'm having a casual beach wedding this summer and I actually used these mats to create an aisle runner for the ceremony. I got five and sewed them together, folding the edges over so it looks like one continuous piece! It looks great, actually. I also bought an extra one to use on the beach on our honeymoon. They are much sturdier than I thought they would be for the price.
