Throw a puzzle party for Angels & Demons
May 04, 2009
Angels & Demons, the film sequel to The Da Vinci Code is due in theaters May 15 and may offer an opportunity for party planners with a penchant for unique events.
By taking the idea of uncovering clues and solving puzzles from the movie, your party can add a new element of fun in terms of games and activities.
For starters, make sure to incorporate a variety of puzzles. While mathematical problems may come easily for some, it may be disastrous and frustrating for others. To remedy this, make sure your puzzles range from riddles to tangled-up metal objects people have to pull apart.
You can even make it a puzzle competition night by splitting the guests into teams and giving them three puzzles to solve in an allotted time.
Those who are more creative and adventurous may want to attempt to create their own version of Dan Brown's literary mystery by using clues within family pictures to lead your guests to the ultimate prize: a dessert table.
And in terms of food, why not cut pieces of bread into puzzle pieces and have your guests dip them in olive oil?
