Having a classic wedding style can make it timeless

With so many reports about celebrity weddings and their unique aspects, it may be easy for people to feel that they need to make their big day different from everyone else's.
However, as it is often the case with trendy designs, what may appear cool today may seem dated in the future.
To combat that, the Lansing State Journal recently suggested to its readers that incorporating a classic wedding style to their reception party decorations and attire can make the ceremony timeless and memorable.
The article further added that when people think of classic brides such as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, their style is still relevant today. Even some Hollywood starlets have recently embraced retro fashion for red-carpet events.
For a more classic approach to one's wedding, think simple. This means wedding decorations displaying black and white attributes throughout the reception. For example, how about placing white tablecloths with black napkins on tables or putting black-and-white balloons in the corners of the room?
While it may not be the most unique wedding reception, it may be more elegant than those that strive to "be different." And, in the long run, being elegant beats out unique almost every time.
