Make graduation present unique by personalizing it
May 20, 2009
Sometimes a graduation present doesn't have to be expensive to be special.
Presenting a recent grad with a personalized gift can help mark the achievement with something unique that will hopefully last longer when compared to expensive electronic gifts (some iPods can die within three to four years).
A number of items can be personalized and choosing which one is the most appropriate for your graduate may depend on their area of study or personality.
For instance, a college student who graduated with a major in English or creative writing may appreciate a fountain pen with their name inscribed onto it with the date and year. If the student majored in a more science-oriented or technical area of study, then perhaps getting a telescope or calculator personalized would be in order.
In terms of a graduating high school student, a custom-made t-shirt, necklace or bracelet could be a good idea, especially if they are into fashion.
Finally, there is always the personalized mug or glass, which can remind the student of their accomplishment in an everyday way.
