Relive dating days with photo booth at wedding
May 27, 2009
Brides and grooms who dated each other in high school may want to embrace a popular trend happening at wedding receptions: the inclusion of an old-school photo booth.
Remember those? They're the ones where people scrunched together in front of a built-in camera that took at least four pictures of them repeatedly.
Well, now that staple of high school dates is making its way to wedding receptions and has been a hit with guests as an innovative way to take home a memento from the party.
In terms of party planning, having a photo booth at the reception may require some creative maneuvering since the machine can take up a lot of space. If your hall can accommodate it, the booth may be best served in the back or off to the side, as long as it's far enough away that it won't be too distracting.
As a party favor, small cardboard frames can be provided for guests to place their photos in afterwards.
Keep in mind that some rental companies have a limit of pictures a machine can take, so factor this in with your guest list.
