Personalize the party banner
June 01, 2009
Of all the party decorations you put up for a celebration, none may be more important, or eye-catching, as the banner.
Many people use this as a way to signify the event, with the banner declaring it's someone's birthday or graduation party, followed by their name.
However, there are different ways to personalize a banner other than the guest of honor's name. One idea is to incorporate the person's favorite color, which can help coordinate the rest of the party decorations such as streamers or various posters that are hung up.
For people who just graduated from medical school, a congratulations banner could have pictures of a stethoscope, lab coat and prescription pad.
The personalized banner can also be used as a way to officially start the party in a different way. How about having the honoree run through the banner like a marathon runner does at the end of a race? It's a good way to signify a job well done and the fact that the person accomplished something great.
Just remember to tear the banner a little bit in the middle so it rips properly.
